Duties & Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Work with our people managers on the job requisition process, including the creation of job descriptions, job requisition forms, etc.
- Create & post job adverts and manage influx of applications for various vacancies.
- Sifting CVs based on job specification and requirement, sending shortlisted CVs to hiring managers as needed.
- Creating interview question packs for various roles.
- Arrange meeting room bookings with reception.
- Coordinate and attend interviews with hiring managers.
- Ownership of all candidate correspondence.
- Responding to generic enquiries and applications received into the recruitment inbox.
- Coordination of events and attendance to career fairs.
- Facilitation of all pre-employment compliance checks, including DBS.
- Engagement with recruitment agencies and attendance to networking events.
HR Administration
- Provide administration support to the HR Team, covering the entire employee life cycle from onboarding through to the exit interviews.
- Update the HR & payroll software with new employee and relevant change information, ensuring employee records are kept up to date and supporting documents are saved to employee files.
- Accurately and comprehensively collate information in readiness for payroll processing and reporting.
- Issue new starter references and respond to all reference requests.
- Support with administration of any annual re-accreditation procedures.
- Supporting the creation and coordination of employee engagement events and initiatives.
- Responsible for the coordination of length of service awards, milestone events and birthday celebrations.
- Produce HR reports and report on people data.
- Coordinating with graduate and qualification programmes.
- Be the first point of contact for all HR-related administration queries and escalate complex queries as necessary.
Essential Experience, Skills & Knowledge
- Previous experience in a HR administrator or assistant role is highly desirable.
- CIPD Level 3 qualified is desirable.
- Good understanding of HR processes and an awareness of employment law and data protection.
- Ability to work in a busy and varied environment where no two days are the same.
- Able to prioritise tasks and have an organised and methodical approach with a close attention to detail.
- You will be an effective communicator and team player.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal at all levels.
- Excellent general IT skills, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems.
- Strong level of literacy and numeracy.
- Team player.
