Location: On site, Monday to Friday, 9am - 5.30pm
Reporting to: Head of Human Resources

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR/Recruitment Advisor to join a leading organisation in the airline industry. This role offers the chance to contribute to a dynamic HR function, providing specialist recruitment and HR support to ensure the attraction, selection, onboarding, and retention of talent aligns with organisational priorities and workforce plans, including considerations such as down rates, blackout hours, and wrap‑around holiday support.

The successful candidate will work closely with managers and HR colleagues to ensure effective recruitment practices, compliance with employment legislation, and a positive experience for both candidates and employees. This is a hands‑on role for an HR professional who thrives in a fast‑paced, aviation‑focused environment and is passionate about delivering high‑quality HR solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to managers and staff on recruitment processes, including workforce planning, job design, attraction strategies, selection, and onboarding.
  • Manage end‑to‑end recruitment campaigns, ensuring timely, efficient hiring processes and a positive candidate experience.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with hiring managers, external recruitment agencies, and other stakeholders to deliver effective recruitment solutions.
  • Support managers in HR matters related to staffing, performance, and employee engagement, including ER case management and SARS requests.
  • Assist with HR initiatives and projects, including talent management, succession planning, and workforce analytics.
  • Ensure compliance with employment law, HR policies, and recruitment best practices, maintaining up‑to‑date knowledge of legislation and recruitment trends.
  • Support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Coordinate and deliver onboarding and induction programmes to ensure new hires are fully integrated into the business.
  • Prepare HR metrics, reports, and dashboards to track recruitment performance and inform strategic decision‑making.
Person Specification:

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in end‑to‑end recruitment across multiple levels and disciplines within the airline industry, providing HR advisory support on recruitment and employment matters. Experience managing recruitment campaigns, liaising with agencies, and working with HR processes, ER case management, and employment legislation is essential. Knowledge of diversity and inclusion in recruitment, HR systems, and talent management initiatives is desirable.
