Description

Are you a strategic thinker, with a passion for shaping organisational designs and structures that drive business success? AXA UK is on the lookout for an experienced Head of Organisational Design to shape our future, taking charge of developing and implementing innovative organisational frameworks. In this pivotal role, you will have the opportunity to influence how we operate, foster a high-performance culture, and support our ambitious growth plans.

As part of our dynamic team, you will work at the forefront of organisational change, translating business strategy into effective structures and processes that empower our people and enhance our overall agility. If you thrive in a complex environment and enjoy making a tangible impact, this could be the perfect role for you.

At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Interpret business strategy and organisational direction to develop effective strategies for executing organisational change, including diagnostics, structure design, and governance optimisation.
  • Create a comprehensive blueprint for AXA UK's organisational design, simplifying our business, establishing principles and approaches that will be integrated into our People systems, governance, and processes.
  • Lead the design and implementation of new operating models, organisational structures, roles and responsibilities to support agile, efficient and scalable ways of working.
  • Develop customised organisational solutions by applying the latest management theories, methodologies, and tools to meet real-world business challenges.
  • Collaborate across business units to influence stakeholders and ensure successful implementation of large-scale organisational initiatives.

Due to the number of applications we expect to receive for this role, we reserve the right to close this advert earlier than the listed closing date to ensure we're able to effectively manage interest. Therefore, if you're interested in joining us at AXA, please don't hesitate to apply.

What you’ll bring:
  • Demonstrated experience in organisational design, transformation or similar areas, preferably within complex or international organisations or consulting firms.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Strong leadership skills, effective communication abilities, and adept stakeholder management.
  • Experience in change management and deploying large-scale organisational initiatives.
  • Knowledge of current trends in organisational design, agile working and digital transformation.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate across multiple stakeholders within different business units and markets.
  • Understanding of People-related systems and processes with the ability to capture and record organisational structures effectively.

As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
