Responsibilities
- Lead projects within the Integrated Absence Management System Programme, ensuring delivery against key milestones and organisational priorities.
- Champion continuous improvement, applying recognised methodologies to embed a culture of innovation and efficiency.
- Collaborate across teams, engaging stakeholders and using strong negotiation and influencing skills to drive change.
- Analyse complex data, using insights to inform decisions and demonstrate benefits realisation.
- Coach and support colleagues, enabling them to adopt new ways of working and develop improvement capability.
- Develop detailed project plans for absence management initiatives within the Integrated Quality Improvement Programme.
- Monitor progress against milestones and ensure projects meet agreed timescales.
- Capture baseline data and apply measurement for improvement principles to track impact.
- Lead and coach local project leads and stakeholder groups, ensuring effective governance and reporting.
- Communicate effectively with staff and managers, using negotiation and persuasion skills to build cooperation.
- Motivate and empower staff to adopt new ways of working and test change initiatives.
- Deliver coaching and training to build improvement capability across the Trust.
- Ensure projects have SMART goals and measurable benefits realisation objectives.
Qualifications and Experience
- Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
- Experience of supporting projects and service improvements applying QI principles and approaches.
- Experience in project management and project management tools and approaches to document and deliver projects.
- Experience of complex data with multiple information components in both qualitative and quantitative formats.
- Good understanding of IT and databases for tracking performance and for data analysis.
