Job summary

The Adecco Group is recruiting an HR Expert / People Partner for a six to twelve month contract in Berkshire, with a hybrid work pattern of two days in the office and three days from home. The role focuses on delivering a comprehensive people strategy across Group Functions within a large transformation programme.

You will bring broad generalist HR experience, strong capabilities in organisation design and OD, and the ability to influence at board level. Start date is ASAP.

Qualifications

• Strong generalist HR background with experience in organisation design and transformation.
• Experience in a complex, matrix organisation, ideally in Group Functions.
• Excellent communication; articulate and inclusive.
• Ability to influence strategy at board level with business-wide impact.
• CPD in HR advantageous; CIPD membership/ accreditation.

Our client is seeking a HR expert to be part of a large transformation project where you will work across the entire HR function focusing on Group Functions to develop, execute and govern the company’s people strategy.

To be successful in this role you will have previous experience of working on large scale people / HR transformation and organisation design projects.

This role would best suit previous experiences of working in a large / corporate environment.

Essential experience required:

• Strong generalist strategic People background, with experience delivering people related activities across a wide range of HR subject matters – requires strong experience in OD, and transformation
• Experience of working in generalist HR in a complex, matrix organisation – ideally experienced working within Group Functions
• Excellent communication skills; articulate, compelling, engaging and a highly inclusive manner
• Proven experience in contributing to the development of the overall business strategy and vision, and in influencing strategic decisions at board level which have business-wide implications
• Strong influencing and communication skills, at all levels including board and executive committee and key external stakeholders. Skilled in matrix working
• Evidence of CPD in the field of HR would be advantageous along with CIPD membership and accreditation

Location: Slough

Hybrid: 2 days per week in the office / 3 days working from home (days in the office will be higher during the initial part of the contract)
