Full-Time / Permanent (37 hours per week, early finish on Fridays)

We are delighted to be supporting a large, well established NI employer, headquartered in Belfast City centre, to recruit an experienced HR People Partner/HR Advisor for their high performing HR Operations Team.

This is a new, permanent, HR People Partner/HR Advisor job, reporting to the Senior People Partner. The role offers full time hours, early finish on Fridays, and a very attractive salary and benefits package.

The successful HR People Partner/HR Advisor will enjoy working as part of a very busy team,

providing professional HR support across the organisation’s divisional teams. The HR role offers the opportunity to influence organisational performance, employee relations, and change management initiatives, while working closely with management to deliver practical HR solutions.

A minimum of 2 years Senior HR experience within a large, fast paced organisation, with strong employee relations exposure, is essential.

The close date for the role is Thursday 9th October at 12 noon.

The Role:
  • Provide HR advice and guidance to managers on employee relations, including disciplinaries, grievances, and dignity at work issues
  • Support performance management and coaching of managers to embed consistent processes
  • Assist with absence management, liaising with Occupational Health, case reviews, and redeployment where needed
  • Support recruitment, selection, and onboarding
  • Prepare reports and HR metrics to monitor performance and absence trends
  • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders and external agencies
  • Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Promote equality, diversity, and best practice in all HR activities
The Person:
  • Minimum of 2 years’ HR experience, including handling employee relations within a unionised environment
  • HNC/HND or equivalent in Business or HRM discipline; CIPD qualified preferred
  • Knowledge of employment legislation and HR policies
  • Strong communication, influencing, and negotiation skills
  • Experience in manufacturing/operations advantageous
  • Ability to travel across multiple sites within Northern Ireland
