A leading consulting firm is seeking a HR/Organisational Design Specialist for a hybrid role based in the United Kingdom. The successful candidate will oversee the development of a skills framework and support strategic workforce planning. A strong background in HR and experience in financial services are preferred. The day rate ranges from £500 to £800 inside IR35, with approximately 1-2 days a month in the office.

One of our leading clients is looking to recruit a HR/Organisational Design/Workforce Planning/Skills Competency Framework Specialist.

Location - Hybrid - Remote/Warwickshire (approx. 1-2 days per month in the office)

Duration - 6 months +

Day Rate - £500 - 800 per day Inside IR35

You will be responsible for and executing the enterprise-wide skills strategy to ensure my client has the capabilities required to deliver its long-term strategic goals. This role leads the development of a future-focused skills framework, oversees skills assessments, and partners with HR, business leaders, and learning teams to close critical skills gaps across the workforce through effective workforce planning.

Skills required:

  • HR or learning & organisational development background
  • Strategic Workforce Planning, skills frameworks and taxonomies. competency and performance management systems and data analysis
  • Organisational design
  • Experience of designing/implementing skills/people/competency/performance frameworks
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including Talent, Leadership, and L&D, to support training initiatives.
  • Experience of interpreting workforce analytics to make data informed decisions, and engage and influence stakeholders.
  • A proactive approach to the continuous evaluation of strategies and a willingness to adapt to organisational changes.
  • Financial Services sector experience - Insurance, Bank, Banking, Life & Pensions etc
