Syme Drummond is delighted to be exclusively partnering with a global leader in advanced materials and photonics, to build out their HR Operations team as they establish their new HR Shared Services hub in Glasgow.

There are four roles available at this level within the HR Operations team, offering variety, pace and genuine development potential. You will play a key part in delivering efficient, accurate HR support that enhances the employee experience across multiple regions.

What you’ll get involved in
  • Managing incoming employee queries through the case management system
  • Delivering day-to-day HR transactions, including data changes, contracts and onboarding
  • Maintaining data accuracy and compliance across systems
  • Supporting process improvements and standardisation projects as the hub grows
  • Collaborating with Payroll, Benefits and Centres of Excellence to ensure seamless service delivery

Fluency in German, Swedish or Finnish is essential for some of the four positions available at this level. For others, our customer is open to candidates who bring strong HR operations experience and proven exposure to working across international regions. You will be comfortable engaging with colleagues from different cultural backgrounds and understand the nuances of working across EMEA, adapting your approach to ensure clear, professional communication and excellent service delivery.
