Overview

The HR Operations Specialist plays a crucial role in executing HR operations tasks across the employee lifecycle including onboarding, offboarding, compliance management, and HR policy maintenance. As the team grows, this role will also assist with the implementation, interpretation, and standardisation of HR policies to ensure that practices align with company standards and legal requirements.

This position contributes to process improvements and helps ensure efficient and accurate HR operations working closely with cross‑functional teams to maintain data integrity and compliance. Additionally, it may lead smaller projects focused on process optimisation, automation, and continuous improvement.

Tasks and Qualifications
Key Responsibilities
  • Execute HR data management tasks for the employee life cycle, onboarding, offboarding, and personnel file maintenance.
  • Manage and track offboarding tasks, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
  • Collaborate with HR teams to ensure proper data management in HRIS systems (e.g., Workday) and maintain data integrity and accuracy.
  • Assist in the development of process documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and job aids to standardise HR processes.
  • Support compliance audits and regulatory reviews related to employee data and offboarding.
  • Contribute to process improvement efforts focusing on identifying areas for automation and simplifying workflows.
  • Interpret and help standardise HR policies across teams to ensure compliance and consistency in HR practices.
  • Provide support for the implementation of regional/global projects and continuous‑improvement projects, collaborating with team members on best practices and process enhancements.
  • Maintain strong attention to detail, especially regarding compliance and documentation.
  • Apply knowledge of HR regulations specifically related to onboarding, employee life cycle, and policy maintenance.
  • Lead small projects focused on process optimisation or compliance improvement (preferred).
Qualifications & Experience
  • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is helpful but not essential.
  • 1–3 years of experience in HR data management, compliance, and process improvement with a focus on the employee life cycle and policy maintenance.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday), Microsoft Office Suite, and data management tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders on project‑based work.
