Role

As our next Human Resources Operations Manager, you\u2019ll serve as a strategic HR advisor for multiple client organizations. This remote, client-facing position is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, enjoys problem-solving, and is passionate about shaping strong, compliant, and people-centered workplaces.

Responsibilities
  • Act as a trusted HR advisor for multiple client organizations, building lasting relationships.
  • Develop, review, and implement HR policies, contracts, and employment-related documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and international employment laws.
  • Advise clients on compliance risks, best practices, and solutions balancing legal needs with company culture.
  • Oversee payroll and benefits administration in collaboration with HRIS, payroll vendors, or PEO partners.
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure compliance and a positive employee experience.
  • Provide guidance on employee relations, investigations, and documentation.
  • Maintain and update HR records, employee handbooks, and compliance documentation.
  • Prepare reports and coordinate filings such as EEO, ACA, and state reports.
  • Support HR audits, data accuracy initiatives, and process improvement projects.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Extensive experience in HR operations, compliance, or generalist roles, demonstrating a strong grasp of HR best practices.
  • Proven ability to support multiple clients or business units simultaneously.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Skilled in drafting and interpreting HR policies and employee handbooks.
  • Excellent organization, communication, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems, payroll software, or PEO platforms.
Preferred
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent).
  • Experience in startups or small business environments.
  • Background in outsourced HR consulting.
  • Familiarity with multi-state or international compliance.
