Job summary

A leading workplace management company in the UK seeks an HR Officer to provide hands-on support for managing casework, including sickness absence and grievances. You will play a key role in implementing HR strategies aimed at enhancing employee wellbeing and organizational culture. The ideal candidate should have strong HR operations experience, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to fostering an inclusive work environment. Being onsite 4 days a week is essential for this role.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience in HR operations and case management.
  • Proven ability to handle a variety of employee relations cases confidently.
  • Personable with excellent communication skills, able to engage with employees at all levels.
  • Highly organised and able to prioritise workload effectively.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs.
  • Committed to being onsite 4 days a week.

Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance and support to managers on HR policies, procedures, and employment law.
  • Manage casework including sickness absence, informal grievance cases, and early-stage performance management.
  • Collaborate with the Key Account Director and Operations Leads to drive high standards of people performance.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and client-specific requirements where applicable.
  • Support the delivery of the People & Culture strategy and operational business objectives.
  • Promote best practices in equality, diversity, and inclusion across the organisation.
  • Research and implement evidence-based approaches to health, wellbeing, and employee engagement.
  • Raise awareness of corporate social responsibility and charity activities to foster a positive and inclusive environment.
  • Develop and improve management information, reporting insights to enhance decision-making processes.
