Location

Office-based (initial 4 weeks), then up to 2 days WFH

Contract

3-Month to begin with | Monday to Friday, between 8am-6pm

Pay

£16.43 - £21 per hour (dependent on experience & qualifications)

About the Role

We are urgently seeking a Level 5 qualified HR Officer for an initial 3-month assignment. This is a hands-on role requiring someone with current HR experience, particularly in casework management and absence handling. You\u2019ll be expected to immediately pick up a caseload (with support) and progress cases in line with internal policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and progress HR casework including:
    • Grievances
    • Disciplinaries
    • Sickness and absence cases
  • Apply up-to-date UK employment law knowledge to all casework.
  • Ensure all actions are compliant with internal policies and employment legislation.
  • Provide HR advice and support to managers and employees.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all cases.
  • Contribute to HR service delivery and continuous improvement.
  • Strong working knowledge of UK employment law.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a busy caseload.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • Proficient in HR systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Working Arrangements
  • Office-based for the first 4 weeks.
  • Up to 2 days per week WFH thereafter, subject to service needs.
  • Working hours: Monday to Friday, between 8am and 6pm.
Pay Rate
  • £16.43 to £21 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
