  • Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

As our HR Officer, you'll:

  • Partner with managers to provide advice, guidance and coaching on a wide range of operational HR matters, including absence management, capability, employee engagement, recognition and performance management.

  • Work alongside HR Business Partners and operational leaders to identify and plan future workforce requirements.

  • Manage employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance and absence management processes, ensuring fair and compliant outcomes.

  • Contribute to the delivery of HR initiatives that improve colleague engagement, wellbeing, retention and organisational performance.

  • Support the wider HR team with ad hoc projects and operational activities as required.

What we're looking for

You'll be a people-focused HR professional with excellent communication skills and strong employment law knowledge. To be successful in this role, you'll have:

  • A collaborative working style and the ability to build positive stakeholder relationships.

  • A genuine passion for supporting colleagues and creating a positive workplace culture.

  • Previous experience managing employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance and absence management processes.

It would be great if you also have

  • Experience working in a multi-site environment.

  • A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related subject.

  • CIPD Level 3 or Level 5 qualification (or working towards).
