About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and driven HR Officer to join our clients dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional to gain hands-on experience in a multi-site organisation and contribute to the ongoing growth and success of our business.

Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding
  • Drafting job descriptions, shortlisting candidates, coordinating and participating in interviews.
  • Preparing offer letters and contracts, and supporting the full onboarding process.
Employee Relations
  • Supporting line managers and employees with HR policies, procedures, and guidance.
  • Assisting in managing employee relations cases.
Performance Management
  • Assisting in review processes and development planning.
  • Supporting managers in managing employee performance and growth.
HR Projects
  • Contributing to key initiatives such as employee engagement programs, promoting equality and diversity, and enhancing HR systems.
Data & Systems
  • Maintaining accurate HR records and generating reports to support data-driven decision-making

Note: This is not an exhaustive list and you may be asked to take on additional duties as required by your line manager.

About You

We’re looking for someone with a strong HR foundation, excellent interpersonal skills, and the confidence to support and influence at all levels of the organisation.

Essential Criteria
  • Degree in Human Resources or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an HR support role.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across business sites.
  • Solid knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Experience with recruitment platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR/recruitment systems.Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and comply with GDPR requirements.
  • A constructive and solution-focused mindset, with the ability to challenge and influence where needed
Desirable
  • CIPD qualified or currently working towards qualification.
