Job summary

A thriving North Bristol company is seeking an experienced HR Manager to oversee the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, and performance management. This stand-alone role offers the opportunity to shape and enhance HR processes within a dynamic leadership team. The ideal candidate will have a strong HR generalist background, with proven skills in employee relations and a hands-on approach to workforce engagement and development. This position is permanent and full-time, requiring on-site presence four days a week.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an HR generalist.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices.
  • Experience in retail or manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day HR support and guidance to managers and employees.
  • Manage recruitment and onboarding activities.
  • Lead on employee relations, policies, and compliance.
  • Oversee performance management and learning initiatives.
  • Drive engagement, culture, and wellbeing initiatives.
  • Support payroll and benefits administration.
