Computerworld Personnel Ltd in Barnstaple is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead the site’s people agenda within a manufacturing environment. This strategic role partners with senior management to drive growth, engagement, workforce planning and operational performance.

The successful candidate will manage the HR team, oversee recruitment, employee relations and compliance with UK employment law, and lead change and development programmes.

Qualifications

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Manager to join a leading manufacturing business in the Barnstaple area.

This is a strategic leadership role, responsible for driving the people agenda across the site, partnering with senior management to support organisational growth, employee engagement, workforce planning, and operational performance.

Role & Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the site HR team and HR strategy
• Support workforce planning, succession planning, and organisational development
• Manage employee relations, performance, and disciplinary matters
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention activities
• Drive employee engagement, culture change, and development initiatives
