Job summary

The Community Inclusive Trust (C.I.T) is hiring a proactive HR Manager to provide high-quality HR support to its 19 academies. You will lead employee relations, drive organisational development, and partner with leaders to create a compliant, high-performing culture across multiple sites.

You will manage complex casework, support recruitment and performance processes, and help implement HR policies in line with employment law.

Qualifications

• CIPD qualified (or equivalent experience).
• Strong generalist HR background with proven experience managing complex employee relations cases.
• Up-to-date knowledge of employment law and HR best practice; experience advising and influencing senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert HR advice and guidance to senior leaders across the Trust on all people matters.
• Lead and manage a wide range of employee relations casework, including disciplinary, grievance, capability and absence cases.
• Build strong, trusted relationships with academies, acting as a key HR partner.
• Support recruitment, induction, probation and performance management processes.
• Ensure effective implementation of HR policies and compliance with employment legislation.
• Conduct investigations, hearings and present cases where required.
• Lead on absence management and provide insightful reporting to support decision-making.
• Contribute to the development and delivery of HR strategy and initiatives.
• Support organisational development, training and continuous improvement across the Trust.
• Line manage and support HR administration colleagues.

Permanent Salary: £42,839 - £47,181 Hours: 37 hours per week

Profile

• Ability to work independently across multiple sites and manage a varied workload

• A valid driving licence and willingness to travel between Trust sites
