Job summary

A local charity in Leeds is seeking an HR Manager to lead on employee relations and HR initiatives. Candidates should have expert knowledge of employment law and experience in People/HR Management. Leeds Citizens Advice & Law Centre works for a fairer society by helping people to resolve financial, housing, employment and other legal issues through telephone, online and face to face advice services. We are seeking an HR Manager to join our team who has the skills, experience and confidence to lead on employee relations matters and HR initiatives.

The HR Manager will work closely with other managers and support them in the application of policies and procedures, providing expert advice on employment relations matters. They will also play a lead role in the development of initiatives that promote inclusivity, high performance and wellbeing across the organisation.

We’re looking for candidates with expert knowledge of employment law and the confidence and ability to lead on HR matters. Experience in a People/HR Management role is essential and an understanding of working in the not-for-profit sector would be advantageous.
