A prestigious medical college in Glasgow seeks a Human Resources Manager. The Human Resources Manager will be an integral member of the College Management Team. Reporting to the CEO and supported by the HR Coordinator, the HR Manager will play a critical role, providing high quality HR advice, guidance, and support in line with best practice and employment legislation.
The post holder will work closely with all our managers on matters including recruitment, on‑boarding, training, the health and wellbeing of our staff, people management and the integration of our College values and behavioural framework.
The post holder will contribute to the development of the People Strategy and will be responsible for the successful implementation of the associated action plan. This includes the creation and execution of an ongoing programme of learning and development for employees with the aim of developing and enabling a high performing agile and flexible workforce.
The HR Manager will be an ambassador for the College, consistently demonstrating our values and delivering a highly dependable and people focused service.
Ideally the role will be worked over 3 full days (Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday) although consideration will be given to other options including half days. The successful candidate will be expected to work in College during their initial probationary period, thereafter, reverting to working hybrid, 2 days out of 3.
