We are looking for a HR Manager to join us for a period of up to 1 year, to provide operational management of the HR Advisory Service. The role also ensures the Trust is able to fulfil the employee relations / people management objectives. This will be achieved through formal line management, advising and coaching of team members and developing systems and processes that enable a high quality service provision.
It is Trust policy that for posts that are for a time limited period, applicants who are currently employed by an NHS organisation will only be appointed on a secondment basis and should have approval from their line manager before applying. Applicants who are not employed by an NHS organisation, will receive a fixed term contract.
Management & leadership
Line management to the HR advisory team including operational management duties
Casework and maintaining attendance
Oversight of all cases, including absence cases and ensure high quality advice provision and timely case progression throughout.
Provide a proactive, professional and comprehensive response to employee relation / people management challenges through informal advice and guidance.
Provide support and leadership to formal casework through specialist advice
Job Evaluation
Advise managers on job evaluation and give specialist advice on developing job descriptions within a service structure. Participate in job matching panels and consistency checking.
