HR Recruit is partnering with a rapidly growing SME client in the tech sector to appoint an experienced HR professional. Reporting directly to the CFO, this is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and evolving business.

In the initial phase, the role will focus on reviewing and establishing core HR policies and procedures to ensure they are effective and fit for purpose. Following this, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape and develop the wider HR function to support the companys continued growthcovering key areas such as compensation and benefits, diversity, equality and inclusion (DE&I) initiatives.

Our client is a forward‑thinking organisation seeking a candidate with strong operational HR experience and the ambition to evolve the function alongside the business.

The company has additional offices in London and Wakefield, and travel to these locations will be required on a fortnightly basis. There is the opportunity to work from home 2/3 times a week.

Role Responsibilities
  • Review and audit all HR policies and procedures to ensure that they are fit for purpose
  • Support managers and team leaders on all recruiting matters
  • Advise managers and provide guidance on HR policy and procedures
  • Keep up to date with UK employment legislation
  • Manage investigations and employee relations issues
  • Monitor and develop performance appraisal systems
  • Monitor and review all employee records to include maternity, paternity requests and absence and sickness and provide regular reports to the senior management team
  • Manage HR personnel files to ensure they are kept up-to-date
  • Develop starter and leaver procedures
  • Gather and evaluate market data to measure the organisations competitiveness for salary reviews, compensation and benefits packages
  • Work in close partnership with senior management to prepare and implement HR strategy
Person Specification
