Job summary

Kepak Merthyr, Wales, seeks a driven HR Graduate for a 2-year rotational programme. You will rotate through HR functions across UK sites, gaining hands-on experience in employee relations, recruitment, onboarding and data-driven HR projects.

Starting salary £29,500 with potential rise to £31,000 in Year 2. Regular travel to sites in the UK & Ireland is required. A strong focus on data, culture and development under expert mentorship will shape your early career in meat industry HR.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent; broad HR exposure welcome.
• Experience in customer service or admin is advantageous.
• Familiarity with HR systems like Workable is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Spend time at multiple sites to understand HR and manufacturing.
• Assist in employee relations, disciplinary procedures, and minute-taking.
• Support occupational health processes and health communications to managers.
• Advise managers on HR procedures and maintain records.
• Provide admin support including letters and meeting minutes.
• Assist recruitment activities and postings using HR systems.
• Track HR data such as absence and disciplinary actions.
