A leading media and entertainment company in London is seeking a Production HR Generalist to provide HR support across UK-based productions. The ideal candidate will have strong HR generalist experience, particularly in employee relations, and be highly organized with excellent interpersonal skills. Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.
Team Overview
The Production HR team partners closely with our International Film, TV, and Theatrical productions, providing expert HR guidance and support across the full production lifecycle. We work hand-in-hand with Heads of Department and production leadership, both on set and behind the scenes, to ensure a seamless and people-first experience for all crew and talent.
Position Overview
As a Production HR Generalist, you will play a key role in delivering high-impact HR support to our UK-based productions and in-house production companies (Prod-Cos). You’ll be a trusted advisor to both freelance and staff teams, ensuring compliance, consistency, and care in every interaction. This is a dynamic, hands-on role that requires a proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused HR professional.
