Job summary

Grandir UK Limited, based in Basingstoke, is hiring an HR Advisor to support nurseries and the Support Office. The role is a true generalist HR Advisor, offering proactive, operational HR support with travel to nurseries once per week and a hybrid working arrangement.

You will coach managers, drive engagement and retention, manage probation and attendance, and analyse people data to improve outcomes. The contract starts as fixed-term with potential to become permanent.

Qualifications

• Generalist HR advisory experience within a UK setting.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law.
• Experience in attendance management, probation and retention activities.
• Ability to analyse HR data and provide insights.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Support HR strategy and key people initiatives across the region.
• Provide timely HR advice to Nursery Managers across nurseries and Support Office.
• First point of contact for people related queries; coach and train managers.
• Build relationships through site visits, HR cafés, cluster meetings, and coaching sessions.
• Lead end-to-end probation process and manage attendance data.
• Support HR projects, audits, policy reviews, acquisitions, and TUPE.
• Assist with employee relations matters including disciplinary, grievance, capability, and conduct cases.
• Produce clear HR documentation and letters.
