Job summary

C&C Search Ltd. seeks an HR Generalist / HR Operations specialist for a 14-month maternity cover in Knightsbridge. Four days in the office and one day work-from-home. The role reports to the Head of HR and offers exposure to an international employee base, stakeholder engagement, and process improvements.

You will support onboarding, contracts, HRIS records, payroll coordination, and family leave administration while helping drive automation and efficiency across the HR function.

HR Generalist / HR Operations | 14-month maternity cover

Knightsbridge | Up to £65,000 + 15% bonus + corporate benefits

This is an opportunity to put your HR expertise to work in a varied role with international exposure, close contact with senior stakeholders and scope to improve how things are done.

Reporting to the Head of HR, you'll join an experienced, collaborative team, supporting employees and managers across the employee lifecycle. Alongside day‑to‑day delivery, you'll contribute to projects, process improvements and automation initiatives.

The details:

• 14-month maternity cover, with a handover period available
• Four days in the Knightsbridge office and one day working from home
• Working hours of 9am-6pm
• Immediate or short-notice availability strongly preferred
• Two-stage interview process

You'll be a central point of contact for employee and manager queries, combining an approachable manner with sound judgement and strong attention to detail. Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing onboarding, inductions, offboarding and exit interviews.
• Preparing contracts, employment documentation and contractual changes.
• Maintaining accurate HR records, managing the HR system and producing reports.
• Supporting payroll and annual compensation processes.
• Coordinating family leave, immigration and visa administration.
• Supporting recruitment for administrative and temporary positions.
• Helping develop more efficient HR processes and ways of working.

You'll bring strong HR Operations or HR Generalist experience, ideally gained within financial services, private equity or investment management.

Experience supporting a global employee population would be particularly valuable. A CIPD qualification and familiarity with HiBob would be welcome, but neither is essential.
