Job description

The successful candidate will lead the transformation in HR reporting insights for people, headcount, and people costs. Based at our Head Office in Barlow Place, the position will be the link between Finance and HR. This is an integral role to accurately monitor and forecast all people related costs with strong accuracy. The role will support and challenge the business for workforce demands and KPI's. Within this role, you will support both the CFO and Regional People and Organisation Director. What impact you can create at Chanel:

Responsibilities
  • Full ownership and preparation of annual staffing budgets for the entire UK operation, building strategic presentations with the Regional People and Organisation Director.
  • Maintain strong relationships with multiple business Directors and Finance team to provide strategic support and ensure clear communication regarding headcount related matters.
  • Weekly and Monthly business updates on vacancy lags, KPI's and key workforce related matters, offering insights, recommendations, and forward planning strategic presentations.
  • Maintain strong relationships with multiple business Directors and Finance team to provide strategic support and ensure clear communication and collaboration across the teams.
  • Collaborate with Finance to eventually take on full ownership of forecasting and monitoring of annual staff costs, headcount and other people related budgets.
  • Work closely with Finance and HR systems teams to improve reporting and forecasting processes resulting in increased efficiency, accuracy, and improved business insights.
Qualifications and skills
  • Strong Finance knowledge and an understanding of financial principles, management reporting, and commercial finance, using these skills to challenge, partner and understand the needs of the business teams allowing for swift and informed strategic decisions.
  • Adaptive learner with a positive attitude, self-starter, professional demeanour and strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Flexible with good time management and strong communication skills including the confidence and ability to communicate with senior management.
  • Comfortable with systems with advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
