Business Development Manager – Fintech Dealer Services

Reports to the Head of Sales for the UK and works closely with the Key Account Manager and Team Lead.

As a Business Development Manager, you will manage a portfolio of current accounts across franchised dealer groups, independents and manufacturers. You will build on existing relationships while creating new ones with prospective customers, growing, developing and retaining business within the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Increase the portfolio of dealers within the region and drive high volumes of payments through the FinTech platform.
  • Develop close relationships with OEMs, retail groups, and established third‑party automotive systems through face‑to‑face meetings, Teams calls, performance incentives, and quarterly reviews.
  • Network and develop dealership relationships, contacts and introductions to new products.
  • Build an extensive customer base and increase retailer sales.
  • Conduct account reviews to analyse and boost customer interaction.
  • Develop strong and lasting relationships at both manufacturer and retailer levels.
Skills & Experience
  • Proven networking ability with dealership, manufacturer and retailer stakeholders.
  • Experience in introducing new products to market and challenging established thinking regarding product adoption and car financing.
  • Strong account review and analysis skills to drive sales growth.
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
Remuneration & Benefits
  • Salary: £55,000 – £70,000 (OTE uncapped)
  • Monthly car allowance: £550
  • Company car, salary‑sacrifice scheme (3 % pension)
  • Annual wellbeing allowance: £250
