This is more than just a case management role — it’s your opportunity to influence culture, coach leaders, and help create a workplace where people thrive.

About You
What you’ll be doing:
  • Be the go-to expert for managers, offering confident, clear advice on all thing’s employee relations.
  • Lead on complex and sensitive cases — from disciplinaries and grievances to TUPE, redundancies, and tribunals.
  • Craft outcome letters that are not only accurate but reflect our values and tone of voice.
  • Build trusted relationships across the business, championing best practice and proactive ER strategies.
  • Represent HR at branch and regional meetings, sharing insights and updates that matter.
  • Travel to branches to provide hands‑on support where it’s needed most.
  • Spot trends in ER and employment law and help us stay one step ahead.
  • Coach and empower managers to handle issues with confidence and care.
  • Stay sharp on employment law and policy changes — and help us stay compliant.
  • Get involved in exciting HR projects that align with our wider business goals.
  • Support employment tribunal claims and lead sensitive “without prejudice” conversations.
  • And of course, roll up your sleeves for any other tasks that help us deliver a brilliant HR service.
Essential - What you’ll bring
  • 3+ years of hands‑on HR Employee Relations experience, in a large, fast‑paced organisation.
  • Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and ER best practices.
  • Experience managing a wide range of ER cases, including tribunals and diversity matters.
  • Excellent communication skills — both written and verbal — with the ability to influence and advise at all levels.
  • Discretion, professionalism, and a calm approach under pressure.
  • Great organisational skills and the ability to juggle competing priorities.
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
  • Confident with IT systems and HR tools.
Desirable
  • CIPD qualification or a degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience working in a commercially driven, customer‑focused environment.
Why join us?

This is your chance to make a real difference in a role that’s varied, challenging, and rewarding. You’ll be part of a supportive team that values your expertise and gives you the space to grow. If you’re ready to take your ER career to the next level — we’d love to hear from you.
