We are looking for an HR Coordinator (Research Staff and Visitors) who will be based within the HR Office (Research Staff and Visitors) at the Department's site in Trumpington Street. You will join the existing team to support the delivery of contract and HR services for Contract Research Staff and Visitors. You will be responsible for the administration associated with the employment of over 350 contract research staff in the Department of Engineering. This includes advertising posts, organising visas and issuing offers of employment, all of which require a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
You will also be the first point of contact for employment-related queries from Contract Research Staff.
You will be educated to at least HND/ HNC level, level 4/5 vocational qualification, be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and have the ability to communicate effectively in writing and in person and to handle confidential material with discretion. Previous experience of working administratively in an HR area is essential as well as experience in working with multiple processes and working to tight regulations.
