About the Role

We're expanding our People Team and looking for a detail‑driven, proactive HR Coordinator to play a central role in supporting our colleagues, delivering our people strategy, and shaping a fantastic place to work. You'll work closely with Senior Advisors and the wider People Team to provide essential support across the employee lifecycle, with a particular focus on accurate and high‑quality note‑taking in formal HR meetings and processes. If you're someone who takes pride in clear, accurate, and reliable note‑taking and wants to make a real difference across our People Team, we'd love to hear from you.

Your role will include:

Responsibilities
  • Providing consistent HR advice and support across processes like attendance reviews and exit interviews.
  • Coordinating case tracking, preparing documentation, and supporting tribunal responses.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely minutes are taken and stored to support fair and transparent decision‑making.
  • Supporting data management, reporting, and insights.
  • Occasionally assisting across recruitment, onboarding, learning & development, and wellbeing initiatives.
  • A confident and meticulous note‑taker – you understand the importance of capturing every detail accurately.
  • Super organised and detail‑focused.
  • A clear communicator who enjoys helping others.
  • Data‑savvy and comfortable managing systems and records.
  • Confident providing low‑level HR advice, with the judgement to know when to escalate to Senior Advisors.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a HR/People function.
  • A full UK Driving Licence (travel around Cornwall required).
  • CIPD Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, with the ability to produce professional notes and documentation.
  • A passion for great service and continuous improvement.
