Job summary

Distinct | B Corp in Manchester is seeking an experienced HR Consultant to support education-sector clients, advising on complex people matters and guiding organisations through change. You will work with multi-academy trusts, schools and senior stakeholders to deliver practical HR solutions.

You will be part of a trusted HR consultancy, building long-term client relationships and delivering high-quality advisory services in a hybrid working model, typically 2–3 office days and 2–3 days at home.

We’re recruiting for an experienced HR Consultant to join a highly regarded professional-services team supporting education-sector clients.

This is a consultative, relationship-led role working with multi-academy trusts, schools and senior education stakeholders. You’ll advise on complex people matters and help clients navigate organisational change.

You will be part of a business that has an extensive track record in building phenomenal HR careers, with many examples of internal promotions and development opportunities across their HR Consultancy structure. The role

About you

• Strong generalist HR background, ideally gained in education or in an HR consultancy serving education clients.
• Comfortable advising senior stakeholders including CEOs, headteachers and HR leaders.
• Experience of complex ER and organisational change.
• Commercially aware and relationship-led, with confidence representing the business externally.

Package and flexibility

• £50,000–£60,000, plus discretionary annual bonus
