Job description

Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a HR Business Partner/HR Consultant to join Bradford Council's HR Restructure Project on an initial 6 month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

As a Consulting Business Partner, you'll work closely with senior leaders to design and deliver workforce strategies that enable effective organisational change. You'll act as a trusted advisor, providing strategic HR and organisational development support to help departments meet their goals and priorities.

What You'll Do
  • Partner with senior leaders to deliver the Council's HR and organisational agenda, driving transformational change and improvement.
  • Provide proactive, strategic advice on workforce planning, service redesign, and change management.
  • Lead on the development of strategic workforce plans and ensure alignment with Council-wide initiatives.
  • Promote our HR “Front Door” and Employee Experience models to build capability across departments.
  • Use workforce data and analytics to inform decision-making and deliver insight-led recommendations.
  • Work collaboratively across HR teams and system partners to design and implement effective workforce interventions.
  • Lead service improvement reviews within the HR function, ensuring continuous enhancement of service delivery.
  • Act as a role model for the Council's values, fostering a supportive and inclusive working culture.

You’ll be a highly skilled and forward-thinking HR professional with a proven track record of consulting and partnering at a senior level. You’ll bring strategic insight, strong leadership, and the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across complex organisations.
