Job Description
  • Review safer recruitment documentation for staff across multiple departments
  • Ensure the Single Central Record (SCR) is fully accurate and compliant
  • Check and validate DBS, reference, right-to-work, and pre-employment documentation
  • Identify and resolve gaps in personnel files and recruitment records
  • Support the HR Director with organisational and administrative tasks
  • Work closely with HR colleagues to maintain high safeguarding standards
  • Maintain confidential records and handle sensitive information responsibly
  • Work on-site to access personnel files and internal systems
  • Assist with general HR compliance tasks as required
The Successful Applicant

A successful HR Compliance Officer should have:

  • Must have recent experience working in the education sector
  • Must already hold a current Enhanced DBS
  • Must have completed reference checks and full safeguarding/pre-employment clearances
  • Strong understanding of safer recruitment and SCR requirements
  • Highly organised, detail-focused, and confident working with sensitive data
  • Able to start immediately and work fully on-site
  • Comfortable working within a busy HR team and prioritising effectively
  • Strong communication and professional standards
