A training organization is seeking a full-time Apprenticeship Assessor in HR & L&D, based in Ringway, UK. Job Role & Details

Job Role: Apprenticeship Assessor in HR & L&D

Hours: Full-time

Salary: 38-40K

Remote working: Yes, with some travel for team meetings and occasional site visits

Our client is dedicated to partnering with employers to support the development of apprentices across multiple sectors, helping them to build successful careers and make a real impact in the workplace.

They pride themselves on delivering interactive training, high-quality assessment, and preparation that equips apprentices with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to achieve their End Point Assessment (EPA) and beyond.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging training sessions to apprentices in line with programme requirements.
  • Assess apprentices' knowledge, skills, and behaviours against apprenticeship standards.
  • Provide constructive feedback and tailored support to help apprentices achieve their goals.
  • Maintain accurate records of progress, assessments, and compliance documentation.
  • Support apprentices in preparing for their End Point Assessment (EPA).
  • Liaise with employers, colleagues, and awarding bodies to ensure apprentices receive a positive experience.
  • Contribute to quality assurance processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Deliver a full curriculum of learning to support apprentices successfully achieve their end point assessment in a timely manner.
  • Provide elements of both coaching and mentoring during teaching sessions and one-to-one progress reviews, to support successful learning outcomes.
  • Provide timely and constructive feedback to apprentices and employers, to support development of apprenticeship and wider skills.
  • Manage a caseload of apprentices effectively to ensure they achieve key milestones and KPIs are met.
  • Ensure regular progress reviews are completed robustly, to support a clear audit trail for funding and quality auditors such as OFSTED and Skills England.
  • Assist the Curriculum manager with ongoing development of the programme to ensure all resources are current and valid to drive engagement of the learner journey and drive success.
  • Utilise all appropriate technology to support the delivery and assessment of the learner journey.
  • Ensure all learner documents and records are accurately maintained and stored correctly on appropriate IT systems.
  • Regularly complete CPD activities to stay up to date with current developments in sector specialisms and teaching.
  • Support in Safeguarding of apprentices through developing their awareness and reporting any concerns to relevant staff or external bodies.
  • Uphold and support the organisational policies and procedures in the promotion of equality and fairness to all learners.

You will need to be well‑organised and confident in providing support across different learning styles and environments.
