About the Olive School, Birmingham

The Olive School is a Muslim faith‑based primary school for children aged 4 to 11 that welcomes pupils from all faiths and none. Opened in Sparkhill in 2016, it holds a leadership specialism and was graded ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted during its first inspection in June 2019. At the February 2025 inspection the school was commended for maintaining the same high standards of academic excellence, teaching, character development and behaviour.

Position Summary

We are looking for a talented individual to provide an exceptional business support service to our pupils, teachers and wider stakeholders. As a key member of our school’s business support team, your expertise will help deliver an outstanding learning environment for our young people.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional business support to pupils, teachers and other stakeholders.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and develop strong relationships across the school and the Star community.
  • Maintain high levels of organisation and specialist technical skills to support daily operations.
Qualifications
  • 5 GCSEs including English and Maths at grade 9‑4 / A‑C.
  • Experience of working in an administrative setting.
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Proficiency in using ICT packages.
