A prominent PR Consultancy firm in central London is looking for an experienced HR Business Partner/People Manager for a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role involves managing employee relations, onboarding, recruitment, and providing coaching to line managers. Ideal candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in HR management, be CIPD qualified, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, with hybrid working options available. Job description

Successful central London based PR Consultancy firm are currently recruiting an experienced HR Business Partner/People Manager to join on a 12 month FTC (maternity cover). You will join a team of two within an established HR team reporting into the Head of People. The ideal candidate will have 5 years HRPB/People Management experience within a corporate sector, CIPD qualified and used to working in a fast paced sector. You will join a diverse, sociable organisation that values well-being, the role offers hybrid working with four days in the office, hours are 9-6pm.

Key duties:
  • Managing employee relations issues
  • Providing HR support / coaching to line managers to assist with career progression planning
  • Onboarding, recruitment, creating, amending contracts and assisting with headcount planning
  • Updating HR systems and databases, creating high level HR reports using HRIS and ATS
  • Project management of new HR systems and procedures
  • Assisting Finance with payroll
  • Actively assisting with performance reviews and supporting managers
Ideal candidate:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Used to working in a fast paced environment
  • Entrepreneurial with a commercial approach
  • Personable, approachable and professional
  • An interest in current affairs, media and politics is beneficial
  • Ideally knowledge of Belgian and / or US employment
