Are you a people-focused HR professional looking for a role where you can make a real impact? This is a great opportunity to work as an Associate HR Business Partner, supporting a busy operational site while helping shape a more modern, streamlined HR service.

The Role

In this broad generalist role, you ll provide day-to-day HR support while also contributing to ongoing transformation projects as HR processes move into a shared services model. You ll partner with managers across the site, build strong relationships, and support both operational needs and longer-term people priorities.

Key responsibilities of the Associate HR Business Partner:
  • Supporting the integration and improvement of HR processes, with a focus on simplification and standardisation.
  • Partnering with managers to develop a people-first culture and align HR activity with business needs.
  • Providing generalist HR support across the full employee lifecycle.
  • Coaching managers through employee relations matters and helping build capability.
  • Supporting organisational design, talent management and succession planning.
  • Driving engagement initiatives and contributing to a positive, inclusive culture.
  • Ensuring compliance with HR policies, employment law and best practice.
  • Working closely with wider UK and global HR teams, plus cross-functional partners.
Key requirements of the Associate HR Business Partner:
  • Formal HR qualification (CIPD or equivalent).
  • Strong UK employment law knowledge and 5 7 years generalist HR experience.
  • Experience supporting change and process improvement.
  • Confidence working independently, solving problems and influencing stakeholders.
  • A resilient, collaborative and people-centred approach.
  • Strong data, reporting and communication skills.

Nice to have - project management experience, delivering training, lean principles knowledge, manufacturing or international experience, and exposure to unionised environments
