Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to support our Electrolyte business site. This role involves developing HR strategies aligned with business growth, managing employee relations, leading succession planning, and providing training and support to management. The position requires independent management of HR and L&D services at the site, with access to wider HR resources as needed.

Responsibilities
  1. Support all HR operational activities across the site, aligning HR strategy with business expansion plans.
  2. Develop and lead employee relations initiatives, including union negotiations and pay discussions.
  3. Manage succession planning and talent development, including early careers programs and resource forecasting.
  4. Coordinate with L&D to ensure relevant training is provided, including gap analysis and safety compliance.
  5. Provide coaching and training to management on HR processes to ensure effective implementation.
  6. Operate independently within the site, accessing broader HR services as necessary.
Requirements
  • Extensive knowledge of employment law and HR policies, with the ability to interpret and apply them effectively.
  • 5+ years of experience in a generalist HR role, including employee relations management.
  • Degree qualification and CIPD Level 7 certification.
  • Experience influencing senior management and supporting organizational change.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, and independent working skills.
  • Availability for 15-20 hours per week.
