Established in 2013, Weybourne manages investments and provides financial and other professional support to a High Net Worth family, their estates, and business interests. The latter covers a wide range of sectors, including farming, aviation, financial investments, commercial and residential property, music and several others. We currently have a team of around 85 employees, whose roles cover accountancy, financial control, tax and treasury, property and investment management, security, risk, and HR based in the both the UK and Singapore (where the Group Head Office is located).

We are headquartered in Singapore with offices in the United Kingdom in Malmesbury and London. The role will require regular coordination across the offices with occasional travel to other group locations.
Team Overview
This is a truly generalist HR team consisting of a Head of HR and HR Assistant as well as a wider HR team who sit within the group. The team supports a diverse range of businesses owned by the family including an investment arm, transport companies, estate management and smaller businesses in, for example, retail and music. Employee numbers total approximately 400 across 16 different entities of varying sizes. The HR team support, to varying degrees across the full HR lifecycle including recruitment, reward, Learning and Development and Employee Relations.
The role has a strong operational focus and requires someone to be actively involved in organisational change and HR improvement activities, along with distinct projects to own. There is constant change across the portfolio, and the HR Business Partner will need to be able to deputise for the Head of HR during an initial period of maternity leave.
Requirements
Main Duties/Responsibilities
- Manage the planning and implementation of key HR projects
- Manage the HR Assistant to deliver expert operational HR support
- Maintain, actively review and refine our HR policies and processes, ensuring they support the organisation's culture.
- Coach, train and challenge managers on their approach to people issues, advising them on best practice approaches.
- Ownership of mid-year performance processes
- Operate as HR lead in the performance management of individuals and other employee relations situations (e.g. capability concerns, disciplinary scenarios, grievances).
- Manage our Group benefits, including the management and governance of our Pensions scheme and regular liaison with the other Group's Reward team.
- Oversee the HR side of the payroll process, liaising with payroll providers to ensure SLAs are met, including our internal finance team
- Produce HR metrics for presentation at Senior Exec level
- Manage our applicant tracking system and support hiring managers with recruitment for their team.
- Compensation - Oversee the delivery of all compensation administration, and provide expertise and advice on salary guidelines, external pay practices and market benchmarking.
- Talent Development - Drive the talent review process, working with managers to create individual development and succession plans to improve the capability of the teams
- Employee engagement lead including surveying and engagement measures
- Manage our employee communications, including the company intranet
