Our client is seeking a commercially astute HR Business Partner to join our team on a 12-month maternity cover contract, supporting their flagship division.

About The Role

You’ll be part of a wider HRBP team and partner with a client group of 400 employees, including a number of senior stakeholders reporting to the MD. This is a high‑impact role requiring fast relationship‑building, deep business understanding, and the ability to influence and shape strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build credibility quickly with senior stakeholders and understand their business priorities
  • Provide strategic and operational HR support across performance management, ER, and cyclical processes (e.g., pay and bonus reviews)
  • Translate employment legislation into commercial conversations with senior leaders
  • Lead and deliver central HR projects, such as leadership development and upskilling initiatives
  • Partner with Centres of Excellence across recruitment, training, and reward
  • Use talent frameworks (e.g., 9‑box grid) to assess and develop talent in partnership with L&D
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience as an HRBP in an agile environment, matrixed organisation
  • Strong generalist HR knowledge with strategic and commercial acumen
  • Confident stakeholder manager with the ability to influence at senior levels
  • Comfortable navigating change and contributing to transformation initiatives (e.g., AI adoption)
  • Hands‑on approach with a passion for offering value‑add HR Solutions
