A leading defence and engineering firm in Walsall is seeking a HR Business Partner to oversee HR operations and deliver strategic solutions. The role involves mentoring, employee relations, and fostering partnerships with unions. Ideal candidates will have HR experience and are eligible for security clearance. As a HR Business Partner, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You'll be at the heart of our operations, driving strategic and operational people solutions that directly impact our defence, aerospace and engineering capabilities. This is a dynamic, senior‑level opportunity where your leadership will shape workforce performance, support business growth through bid activity, and foster strong relationships with trade unions.
This role is full time, 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday and provides hybrid working arrangements.
There are no essential qualifications required for this role. However, relevant HR certifications or CIPD membership would be advantageous.
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role. Many of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions. Your eligibility for certain roles may be affected by your place of birth, nationality, current or former citizenship, and any residency you hold or have held.
