HR Business Partner - 12-Month FTC

Location: Greater Manchester

Salary: £50,000 + benefits

We're proud to be partnering with a UK leading food manufacturer to recruit an experienced and people-focused HR Business Partner for a 12-month fixed-term contract.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident HR professional with a passion for employee engagement and operational excellence. Working closely with managers and site leadership teams, you'll play a hands‑on role supporting colleagues across manufacturing and operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a trusted partner to operational leaders, providing expert HR advice across all people matters.
  • Lead on employee relations cases, including grievances, disciplinaries, investigations, and absence management.
  • Coach and train managers to build capability in people leadership, performance management, and communication.
  • Support engagement and wellbeing initiatives, driving a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Manage contract changes, HR documentation, and policy compliance.
  • Collaborate with the wider HR team to deliver site‑wide projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
What we're looking for
  • Proven experience in an HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor role within manufacturing, FMCG, or a fast‑paced operational environment.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • Confident handling complex ER casework with professionalism and empathy.
  • A natural communicator who thrives on building relationships at every level.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and passionate about developing people and supporting business success.
