We currently have an exciting opportunity for a HR Business Partner to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract basis. As a key member of the broader HR department, you will provide proactive support to our Lead HRBPs and leaders across esure to deliver on all aspects of our people agenda. This will include working closely with our line managers to build their people capability, plan and manage talent, and engage and empower their teams.

What you’ll do:

  1. Support the Lead HRBPs to deliver and embed the annual cycle of enterprise-wide people initiatives.
  2. Build relationships with our leaders across the organisation, being a visible and proactive presence in the business.
  3. Support the implementation of new people-focused initiatives and projects.
  4. Lead on various projects to improve leadership capability and resolve broader business challenges such as engagement, inclusion & diversity initiatives, and reducing absence and turnover.
  5. Work with leaders to embed the performance cycle, set objectives, measure results, and upskill leaders to have regular people conversations.
  6. Coach leaders to resolve engagement challenges quickly and confidently while educating them on employee engagement best practices.
  7. Collaborate with leadership teams to raise awareness of our inclusion & diversity agenda and produce functional action plans.
  8. Analyse relevant MI to identify trends and provide valuable insights to the business.

What we’d love you to bring:

  1. Experience working in an HR role advising and supporting management on complex HR issues.
  2. A keen curiosity about what motivates people and how to build innovative solutions to enable peak performance.
  3. Ability to build strong relationships with the business, understand their challenges, and provide thoughtful advice and solutions.
  4. Experience leading and delivering end-to-end people projects and process improvements.
  5. Experience working with people data, analysing it, and turning it into actionable insights.

The Interview Process (subject to change):

  1. Introductory call with a Talent Partner to explore the role in more detail.
  2. First stage interview: 1 hour with two Lead HR Business Partners.
  3. Second stage: 1 hour onsite interview in Reigate with our Chief People Officer and Talent, Learning & Culture Lead.
