Job description
Overview

Are you an experienced HR Business Partner looking to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced, high-growth environment? This role offers the opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation where you'll play a pivotal part in shaping and delivering the People strategy. As a trusted advisor to senior leaders, you'll translate commercial objectives into effective people plans that drive organisational performance. You will take the lead on organisational design, complex change initiatives, talent development, and employee relations — while also managing a People Advisor and contributing to a high‑performing, strategically minded People function.

We're looking for a passionate and driven People Partner to join a high performing People team. Reporting directly to the Head of People, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering people strategies that drive real business impact. This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape the future of a growing organisation.

At RSE Controls, we’re on an exciting journey of growth and transformation, bringing together several recently acquired specialist businesses into one unified and future‑ready organisation. To support this, we’re looking for a highly capable HR Business Partner who is ready to drive change and impact across a growing, PE‑backed environment.

What You’ll Do
  • Partner with business leaders to develop strategic people plans aligned to commercial priorities.
  • Lead organisational design, restructures, and integration activities.
  • Drive workforce planning and ensure the right talent is in the right place.
  • Support and coach managers to build a high‑performance culture.
  • Oversee complex employee relations matters and ensure consistent, pragmatic HR practice.
  • Lead strategic people projects such as career pathways, talent frameworks, and succession planning.
  • Develop and coach a People Advisor while collaborating across the wider People team.
Qualifications
  • Proven HRBP/People Partner experience in a dynamic, commercial environment.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to turn strategy into action.
  • Experience leading organisational change and complex ER casework.
  • Solid understanding of UK employment law and best practice.
  • Confident stakeholder management at senior levels, including C‑suite.
  • CIPD qualification.
  • Bonus: Experience in high‑growth, PE‑backed, engineering or technical environments, plus exposure to post‑acquisition integration/TUPE.
Who You Are

You’re commercially minded, solutions‑focused, and confident influencing at all levels. You can balance strategic thinking with hands‑on delivery, thrive in ambiguity, and have a genuine passion for improving business performance through brilliant people practices. If you’re looking for a role where you can drive meaningful impact, lead change, and help shape the future of a growing organisation, we’d love to hear from you.
