Job summary

Michael Page is seeking an HR Business Partner to work closely with the HR Director, Finance leadership and IT stakeholders to shape workforce planning, leadership development and organisational effectiveness.

You will build trusted relationships, coach senior leaders, lead talent reviews and succession planning, and drive engagement and change initiatives across the business.

CIPD qualification (or working towards) is desirable, and you must be able to commute to Manchester three days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with leaders across Finance and IT, providing trusted advice, challenge and coaching on all people-related matters.
  • Partner with stakeholders to develop and deliver people plans that support business objectives and future growth.
  • Lead talent reviews, succession planning and workforce planning activities to identify and develop critical capability.
  • Support leaders to build high-performing teams through performance management, coaching and development initiatives.
  • Drive employee engagement, wellbeing and culture initiatives to help people thrive and perform.
  • Support organisational change, restructures and transformation projects with positive employee experience.
  • Use workforce data to identify trends, risks and opportunities for informed decisions.
  • Manage complex employee relations matters with pragmatic, commercially focused advice.
  • Collaborate with Learning & Development, HR Services and CoEs to deliver impactful people solutions.
  • Contribute to ongoing development of the People function and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting leaders to build high-performing teams through effective performance management, coaching and development initiatives.
  • Driving employee engagement, wellbeing and culture initiatives, helping create an environment where people can thrive and perform at their best.
  • Supporting organisational change, restructures and transformation projects, ensuring change is implemented effectively and with a positive employee experience.
  • Using workforce data and insights to identify trends, risks and opportunities, enabling informed business decisions.
  • Managing complex employee relations matters and providing pragmatic, commercially focused advice on employee issues.
  • Working closely with the wider People team, including Learning & Development, HR Services and Centres of Excellence, to deliver consistent and impactful people solutions.
  • Contributing to the ongoing development of the People function, helping to embed new ways of working and continuous improvement initiatives.
Profile

A successful HR Business Partner should have:

  • An experienced HR Business Partner with a strong commercial mindset.
  • Proven ability to influence and coach senior stakeholders.
  • Strong background in talent, leadership development and organisational change.
  • Confident managing complex employee relations matters.
  • Comfortable working in a hands-on environment where no two days are the same.
  • CIPD qualified (or working towards) is desirable.

Job Offer
  • Salary between £60,000 and £70,000 per annum, dependent on the level of experience.
  • Excellent benefits package.
  • Permanent position based in Manchester
