Job summary

A reputable care home provider in Greater London seeks an experienced HR Business Partner to join the senior leadership team. In this role, you will drive the people strategy by partnering with operational leaders, managing employee relations, and ensuring compliance within a multi-site care setting. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of the care industry, a hands-on approach, and hold a CIPD Level 5 or equivalent. This position requires travel across multiple homes.

  • Must have a driver's license and own car for travel.

We are now looking for an experienced HR Business Partner with strong care sector knowledge to join our senior leadership team and play a pivotal role in driving our people strategy across the organisation.

You will bring energy, enthusiasm and a positive presence, with the confidence to influence and challenge managers.

As HR Business Partner, you will work closely with operational leaders and home managers, providing strategic and hands‑on HR support across a multi‑site care environment. You will act as a trusted advisor, ensuring best practice, legal compliance and a strong employee experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partnering with Regional and Home Managers to support operational performance through effective people management
  • Leading on complex employee relations cases including disciplinaries, grievances, absence and performance management
  • Supporting recruitment, retention and workforce planning across the group
  • Driving engagement, culture and leadership development initiatives
  • Ensuring full compliance with employment law, CQC expectations and sector best practice
  • Supporting organisational change, restructures and TUPE where required
  • Coaching and developing managers to build a strong, compliant and confident leadership team
Qualifications & Experience

You will be an experienced HR professional with a strong background in the care sector.

  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner
  • Solid experience working within the care industry or a highly regulated sector
  • A hands‑on approach with the ability to work at both strategic and operational levels
  • Must have CIPD Level 5 or above (or equivalent experience)
  • Must drive and have own car, will have to travel across homes as required
