A Local Government Authority in Ebbw Vale is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to deliver customer-focused HR services to schools and management teams. You will support workforce strategy, manage complex employee relations, and ensure compliance with HR policies. Candidates must be CIPD qualified with a proven HR background. We are seeking a HR Business Partner to join our team who will share our values and strive to make the Council a great place to work, with a workforce that can meet the current and future needs of our community.
As a HR Business Partneryou will provide a customer focused HR Service to our Schools and management teams within the Children, Young People and Families Directorate. This will be across the full range of HR activity with a focus on supporting them to effectively manage human resources and fulfil their relevant responsibilities in compliance with policy and legislation.

You will be CIPD qualified (level 5 as a minimum) or equivalent with a knowledge of employment legislation and its application. A proven track record and experience of working in Human Resources dealing with complex employee relations matters is essential.
This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. A comprehensive pre-employment screening process will be undertaken which will include an Enhanced Disclosure with Child Barred List.
Full driving licence and access to a vehicle for working purposes is a requirement of the role.
