We anticipate paying a salary between £57,600 - £75,600 DOE.

Location: Hybrid working based from either our Derby, Manchester, or Warrington offices.

About The Role

We’re looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join our growing team at Rolls-Royce SMR. In this pivotal role, you’ll partner with senior leaders to deliver HR strategies that support our ambitious scale-up plans. Acting as a trusted advisor, you’ll drive initiatives across talent management, organisational development, and employee engagement, ensuring our people strategy aligns with business goals.

You’ll play a key role in shaping a high-performance culture, fostering innovation, and supporting leadership teams through change. This is an exciting opportunity to influence the future of a dynamic organisation at the forefront of clean energy innovation.

We'll Need You To
Strategic HR Partnership
  • Collaborate with leadership on organisational goals, workforce planning, and business strategy.
  • Provide expert guidance on HR policies aligned with business needs and culture.
  • Identify talent gaps and recommend strategies to close them.
Employee Relations
  • Advise managers and employees on performance management, conflict resolution, and career development.
  • Assess and improve employee engagement through feedback and solutions.
Talent Management & Development
  • Lead talent acquisition strategies to attract and retain top talent.
  • Support leadership development and succession planning programs.
  • Facilitate coaching, mentoring, and career pathing initiatives.
Organisational Development
  • Design structures to support scale-up strategy.
  • Promote a high-performance culture aligned with RR SMR Values.
Compensation & Benefits

HR Operations & Compliance

What You'll Bring
  • Proven experience in an operational HR Business Partnering role within a fast-paced environment.
  • Expertise in employee relations and organisational change.
  • Ability to engage and constructively challenge senior stakeholders.
  • CIPD qualification and a degree in Human Resources (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience in engineering or operational settings.
