We are looking for someone eager to make their mark as we continue our rapid expansion. In this critical role, you will foster strong relationships across this diverse group of stakeholders and support their full range of HR needs. Your core responsibility will lie in spearheading HR initiatives across your stakeholder groups that bolster our culture, ranging from talent development to internal communications. Given the breadth of responsibilities, you should be able to work independently, as well as be capable of planning and prioritising to achieve success. You will need to be flexible, adaptable and composed under pressure. You will employ empathy, organisation, and excellent communication skills to foster fantastic relationships with colleagues, leaders and employees and be seen as a true HR expert.

In return, we provide a supporting and inclusive environment where you can grow and make your mark in the vibrant energy sector, mentored and guided by our respected experts. Our high-performance collaborative culture rewards initiative and drive, offering excellent remuneration, long-term incentives and exciting work.

Key Responsibilities

You'll report directly into our Director of People providing both strategic and operational HR support to all leaders and employees across your stakeholder groups. Your day-to-day role will include:

  • Work with the wider People team and relevant stakeholders to help spearhead people programs and strategies that enhance our culture - including performance, management, compensation, talent development & feedback, employee engagement & retention, and internal communications.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to gauge and understand employee and management pulse.
  • Coach and develop line managers, building their skills and confidence to successfully lead their people.
  • Provide guidance and support in case of workplace crises or conflicts, ensuring they're resolved in a way that safeguards both the organisation and its employees.
  • Facilitate and guide your divisions through organisational changes, ensuring smooth transitions and minimizing disruptions.
  • Work closely with Finance and Talent Acquisition to ensure the business has an accurate workforce plan that is up to date, allowing for accurate future forecasting and modelling of costs.
  • Analyse workforce trends and collaborate with hiring managers to anticipate future employment needs.
  • Use HR metrics to make data-driven decisions and demonstrate the ROI of HR initiatives.
  • Ensure the company is compliant with employment regulations and minimise risks associated with non-compliance.
  • Champion key HR domains such as talent management, performance evaluation, employee engagement, compensation strategy, and other HR-driven initiatives.
  • Develop and roll out various programs to meet employee needs and drive high levels of employee engagement that in turn creates an environment that encourages open, inclusive, and productive collaboration.
  • Advocate for and implement initiatives that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the company.
  • Act as the go-to HR touchpoint for all employees, elucidating HR strategies, practices, and methodologies.
  • Partner with key Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) such as the Reward Manager to promote and manage the communication and execution of all employee reward, recognition, appraisals, wellness, retirement, and other discretionary benefits.
  • In conjunction with the Talent Acquisition team, drive overall recruitment efforts ensuring we consistently attract, nurture, and elevate our talent pool.
  • Collaborate with the Learning & Development team, ensuring continuous learning and professional growth for our staff.
  • Deliver comprehensive HR support throughout the employee lifecycle, while also contributing to broader HR projects.
