Ideal candidates will have at least 5 years of HR experience in a legal context, be CIPD Level 5 qualified, and possess strong people skills. Qualifications

An exciting opportunity has arisen at a leading law firm for a talented and experienced HR Business Partner to join their growing team. A pivotal role, you will be responsible for the full employee lifecycle and the shaping and implementing of HR strategies and initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing support and guidance in relation to day-to-day HR matters including handling performance, sickness absence and disciplinary issues.
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures, along with supporting documentation and processes.
  • Advising management on HR matters generally, including HR process solutions.
  • Helping to shape and support management with an effective and ongoing performance management review process.
  • Establish an effective hiring and talent management and career development programme.
  • Administering the firm’s graduate recruitment, including the summer vacation scheme programme.
  • Creating learning, training and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for colleagues.
  • Creating wellbeing events and initiatives.

Key skills gained include:

  • Minimum of 5 year’s HR experience in a legal or professional services firm preferred.
  • CIPD Level 5 qualified.
  • Good knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • A positive approach to ongoing development and implementing new ways of working.
  • Strong people skills – approachable, professional and engaging.
